In the early game, you can choose to expand aggressively but risk ruining your game if greyjoy and/or baratheon chooses to attack you while you the most vulnerable.īeing more conservative in the beginning is a safe option but will lead to you being unable or being delayed in realizing starks full potential.Īs you start with 1 supply, it's important to grab a supply barrel at widow's watch and CP at castle black. It maybe possible to take shipbreaker and the castles adjcacent to it (Dragonstone, crackclaw and storm's end) but that may mean you vulnerable at bay of ice and greyjoy may attack you from there. Your home territory consist of 4 castles (Winterfell, white harbour, moat and eyries) so you need to grab three more which will usually be flints, seaguard and crackclaw point. Generally your best bet is to grow your home territories if possible and then mount an attack later on.

It's difficult to get your 7 castles but if left alone, Starks can become a consistent powerhouse is the middle to late game. Starks is a house whose natural territory gives access to a lot of supply, consolidation power and castles. If anyone has suggestions to play more aggressively, feel free to add. Note: My guide is a bit more conservative.
